
Picayune is located in the
southern part of Pearl River County in the southern most tip of Mississippi. Located along
the Hobolochitto Creek, which flows into the Pearl River, the land in and around Picayune
has an elevation of 60 to 160 feet above sea level. Picayune is astride the crossroad of
US Highway 11 and Mississippi Highway 43. It borders Interstate 59 and has two exits: Exit
4 on the south side of town accessing Memorial Boulevard and MS Highway 43 South; and Exit
6 on the north side of town which accesses Highway 43 North. Picayune is ideally located.
A rural and forested atmosphere, it is within an hour of any metropolitan activity you
